Shopping with Severus in the Durban Muti Market

As any reader of Rowling's books knows, the magical and Muggle worlds are closely connected. This is evident in Durban's Muti Market, where magic and the everyday Muggle world interact closely; indeed, most South African Muggles are remarkably accepting of magic, and it plays a part in the lives of many. So what would Snape shop for here? In this presentation I will consider the many plants and animal parts available at a muti market and discuss their uses: some of them verified by Muggle medicine, some of them bordering on Dark Magic.
