Christina L. Littlefield is a PhD student in the Faculty of Divinity at the University of Cambridge, England. She is studying Western religious culture, particularly Christianity's role in shaping Western civil religion and its ideas of freedom, human rights, individualism, and democracy. In her former life, Littlefield was an investigative reporter for a daily newspaper in Las Vegas, Nevada, covering higher education and religion. She has been a Harry Potter fan since 2001.
